Quickly gauge the mood of your teams

Today, the unseen after-effects of the health crisis can linger on. These include the often underestimated emotional impact of the COVID crisis on teams. Faced with this situation, managers are often at a loss.

The health crisis has confirmed that day-to-day management requires constructive questioning and attention in all circumstances. Managers are sometimes at a loss and do not know how to ensure that employees are in the right frame of mind, or how to maintain contact and team’s motivation while keeping the right distance?

With this in mind, Dessin & Entreprise has developed Climafun, an online application designed to diagnose a company’s mood. This diagnostic tool can be used to assess employees’ feelings and the atmosphere at work and put in place the right action levers.

How do you measure the emotional mood of your employees?

CLIMAFUN allows you to assess the impact of what employees are experiencing, by offering them a fun test based on a range of different situations. The test is simple, quick and anonymous. Each employee is asked to answer a series of 4 to 6 questions, choosing the drawing that most appeals to them. A report on the analysis is given to the manager, giving a reliable « weather forecast » for the whole team.

This barometer is based on the visualisation of contexts that appeal to the emotions of the individual and therefore to subjectivity. Climafun encourages the exploration of emotions and feelings. It also enables good practices to be collected, identified and disseminated. This transitional tool is a pretext for addressing unspoken issues and delicate situations.

Why does drawing have a positive effect?

“Drawing frees expression and allows emotions to come out. It’s a way of tackling serious subjects in a more light-hearted way than with words. It’s a way of getting people to think about their behaviour and their place in the company, asking them what makes sense for them and for the company. Taken as a transitional tool, drawing leads to a positive approach”, explains Hélène-Laure de Belloy, founder of Dessin & Entreprise and CLIMAFUN.

Our training courses, all based on drawing, aim to reinforce meaning, dynamics, confidence, coherence, solidarity, intercultural relations and recognition.
Our training recommendations are a lever for HR managers to help everyone find meaning and contribute to a better quality of life in the workplace.

Founded in 2004, DESSIN & ENTREPRISE works with international companies and SMEs to develop change management techniques using the HLDB method. This method uses drawing to express emotions in order to acquire new behavioural skills through trainings or coaching.

Climafun can help :

  • a team to question itself and its behaviour
  • everyone to realise that they have a responsibility for the team’s atmosphere
  • encourage co-construction in a calm and realistic manner within a team
